Paper Guideline
All submitted papers should report original and unpublished work, experimental or theoretical, and are not under consideration for publications elsewhere. All papers should be no less than 4 pages in length. All papers are subject to reviews and edits. Prospective authors are kindly invited to submit full text papers that includes title, abstract, introduction, tables/figures, conclusion and references. Other styles of papers are not accepted. Please submit your papers in both .doc/.docx and .pdf formats as attachments via email to yanjiuyuan@bhlcyjy.org.cn by the given deadline. It is unnecessary to submit an abstract in advance.
All accepted papers will be published in the conference proceeding, which will be distributed to all delegates after the conference has been held.
Review Process
Step 1. To keep scientific integrity, one of our editors will run Turnitin on each new submission to check if it has potential problem of plagiarism. Papers not passing the plagiarism check will be desk rejected immediately.
Step 2. Then the publication Chairs will conduct initial check to ensure the submission falls within the scope of the conference and decide if it merits further review. Once passed the initial check, the manuscript will be assigned to reviewers for double-blind peer review.
Step 3. Each selected submission will be reviewed by at least two or three independent expert reviewers in the field on originality, validity, quality and academic merit, and readability.
Step 4. The peer review reports received from the experts will be judged by one of the editors with international scientific standards.
Step 5. The logical and valid peer review reports will be sent to the authors for them to revise the manuscript accordingly. For invalid reports, the editor may either assign a new reviewer or make a judgement based on his/her own.
Step 6. Authors are required to respond to the peer review comments in details and revise their paper according to the points raised.
Step 7. Then the editor will send the revised manuscript to the reviewers again for re-evaluation.
Step 8. If the reviewers approve the revised version of the manuscript, then the Editor-in-Chief will make a final decision on acceptance for the publication.
Special Statement
All submissions should be original and unpublished. All submissions must be in English and checked for correct grammar and spelling. The standard paper format and page limits which are listed in the given "Template" should be strictly abided by. Each paper should clearly indicate its technical or scientific contributions and the theme which it belongs to. Papers that contain any form of plagiarism and/or do not match the conference theme will be rejected.
FAQs
Is it possible to submit other non-English papers?
No. ICSSED 2024 only accepts papers written in English.
Is there a limit to the number of submissions I can be listed as an author on?
No. But please make sure that your submissions are distinct and sufficiently substantial.
Does the six-page limit include references?
We recommend the authors to write within 6 pages with references; however, we still accept paper longer than 6 pages. An extra fee is charged.
By whom is the proceeding indexed?
The papers will be submitted to Conference Proceedings Citation Index CNKI/Google Scholar for indexing.
What are publication time and index time?
After the conference, all papers accepted by ICSSED 2024 will be submitted to the publisher for review and publication, and then submitted to CNKI/Google Scholar and other databases for reviewing and indexing. The proceedings will be published within 3 - 6 months. The specific index time depends on the efficiency of the review process, usually 12-24 months after publication.
